“Mamacita, we are very hungry, give us some worms”

When I passed the Bear class eating lunch and complimented them on their singing today at the first grade presentation, they broke into song. I ran off to get a camera. They obliged me with an encore. Here is “Los Pollitos.”

Kudos to all the first grade teachers and students. The translation is below:

The chicks say pio pio pio

When they are hungry, when they are cold.

Mother hen finds corn and wheat,

She gives them their food and keeps them warm.

Under her two wings, they snuggle and sleep

Til next day.

In the morning they say, “mamacita, we are very hungry, give us some worms.”
